An awesome hike! Laura Cowles Trail is really challenging but an amazing hike. This is all handheld on the Sony a7s ii. Can get away with tripod-like stability with the five-axis a7s ii stabilization. Graded in premier pro with Deluts. Picture profile is cine 4. Lens 24 to 70 f4 at f22. DUST on the sensor :(.

I did some calculations with your 900 sq. kilometers number and this UA-cam video where it cost 5 million dollars for 7 acres of solar. It would cost 150 billion for that much solar. Who is going to pay for that? What if they were able to get that number down to say 40 billion. Who is going to pay for that?
That is enough solar to power heat, transport, and electricity. It is a ridiculous calculation because you would need far more battery capacity than we would be able to afford because you need power at night. With regard to cost, solar is moderately expensive but it is one of our more affordable options. You can see on page 2 of this report by Lazard, unsubsidized utility scale solar is compatible with natural gas in price. Rooftop is way to expensive. Wind is really, really cheap. Yes this tradition will take billions but we are talking about our largest industries with the most revenue. Most power plants are aging and need to be replaced. I agree that the whole thing is ridiculous. I agree that coal is not economical. Coal creates pollution/health problems mining it, air pollution, and you have to store the ash after it's burned along with the coal ash dam breaking and polluting water and such. I think we agree on a lot but you can't scale up to what you want to do in your other video, it has to be incremental over decades.
Where are you from? What got you interested in this/how did you find my video? Yes I agree, purist scenarios are not really realistic in my mind but I think important to think about for the long term decision making. In reality it will probably be a lot of renewables, natural gas, and maybe some nuclear. Thats what I would bet but I think there is a lot more innovation to go. I wouldn't be surprised if Elon comes up with another unbelievable thing.

Thank you for saying that! It has just a tad bit of kodak film filter 2395 (inside premier pro) on it too. Along with some just normal grading too. Im liking some of the film filters they have now.
